Bob Kolb has been teaching saxophone, clarinet and flute for over 40 years, having studied each at the college level and beyond.

He teaches with enthusiasm and understanding, utilizing duets as an important way to demonstrate the desired tone quality and rhythm to emulate. He successfully coaches students on theirĀ allstate piece auditions.

His teachers included: Frederick Hemke (Northwestern University), Joe Daley (Chicago), Joe Allard (New York) and Phil Woods (international jazz alto) on saxophone, Anthony Bruno (Eastman) on clarinet, Wally Kujala (Chicago Symphony) and Harold Bennett (Metropolitan Opera) on flute.

Bob currently teaches in the Middlebury, CT, Pomperaug School System Visiting Artist Program and at his home in Bethany.
